Consumed

Consumed
in thought and deed;
Consumed
with pricks of love;
Consumed
with ways to reach them;
Consumed
with being consumed
by school? by kids?
by God?
I am okay with being
consumed
by all, but
unless my God
swallows me up,
breaks me down,
and spits me up
like a fresh explosion in the night,
all this consumation will
rip me up and
turn me dust....
and nobody will be changed.
