A Vindication on the Vast Fields of the Mind

If I don't get it,
how will they?
If I can't stay attentive,
why would they?
If I slave over the language,
who's to say it'll be worth their time?
But nobody has snapped my chains;
I stay bound.
My heart, my mind, it holds the key--
and I must unlock it,
chained or not,
I must unlock,
because all the binding in the world
cannot bind the perimeter of the mind,
cannot imprison
the thoughts of a bursting mind--
whether the thoughts make sense or not.
Nonsense
marks the beginning of sense.
