Perfectionism
Above the clouds
weary legs give up
as quiet energy seeps
through each fiber
handcrafted by God.
She's not perfect.
She's not godly--
far from it--
stretching to grasp
how utterly wretched
each sinewy strand glares
under the microscope.
Yet
above the clouds
each twisted fiber reflects
a glimmer of diamond
and hopes for change.
